"God's Purpose for ONENESS" Part 3
God’s third Purpose for ONENESS is to MULTIPLY HIS IMAGE.
Genesis 1.28 “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be FRUITFUL, and MULTIPLY, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”
We multiply His image by being:
a. Fruitful… be productive, abundant, successful.
b. Multiply…increase, reproduce, to overflow.
c. Replenish…fill up again, refill, recharge.
d. Subdue…. to conquer, to overcome, to dominate.
e. Dominion… sovereignty; control, power, rule over.
God does not just want us to bear children in our image( to resemble us), but He wants us to bear children to look like His image (to resemble Him spiritually).
